County District 2,
Every time we are asked to go
out to the polls to Vote we are given promise after promise. Then we are
typically disappointed. Today I come to you like others before me, asking for
your Vote.
My promises
I will keep simple:
My Votes will protect Residents, Businesses and Municipalities
from Government Intrusion. I will Research and push to
restructure the Budget - my
experience as an Alderman for 5.5 years and a Restaurant Manager for 23 years
will come in quite handy here. I will Work to bring JOBS to St Louis County as we
have for the City of St Ann. Have you seen the construction at “The Crossings
of Northwest” this year? I will listen to your
views,
opinions, frustrations and needs, and take on whatever new legislation is
needed to protect the people or eliminate legislation that hurts the people
like the issue with ALL Tickets being a Criminal Offense, this our State
Legislators should have changed a long time ago. I will
continue my work on the
West-lake Landfill, this issue is the responsibility of the Federal Government
however at the St Louis County level I believe a more detailed Emergency Plan
should be constructed that coordinates with the County’s Municipal Governments.
This should be done for any Emergency: Tornado, Earthquake, Westlake, Floods… I will VOTE AGAINST “The
City/County Merger” ensuring Parkway, Pattonville, Hazelwood, and Ritenour
remain under Local Control. As well as the Fire Districts, Police Departments
and Local Governments and their Services to the People. The
job of the County
Councilman is no different than that of an Alderman in my city, just a larger
scale of population. It should be about “WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE, to make
St. Louis County a strong and business friendly environment, thus providing JOBS
for the people of St Louis County -North, South, East and West while assisting
in keeping our County Schools Strong, our citizens Safe, our

I believe we need to rebuild and
restructure the County’s budget so that wasteful spending is eliminated and the
County’s infrastructure and personnel are reinvested in. You see in my own City of St Ann, I have
already seen and been through many of the things that are happening in the
County today. The County’s revenue is declining as businesses choose elsewhere
to locate like St Charles or Jefferson County. They may or may not see this
coming – But this is what we experienced with the loss of Northwest Plaza, they
say History Repeats itself if we are not watching - instead of Thinking Outside
the Box to do something about it, they cover it up with Grandiose Spending -
Millions of Dollars on a Soccer Field, 3 Million for a Metro Link Study which
if built would again take Millions if not Billions of our tax payer dollars.
Etc., etc.… I wish to serve the people
as
their St Louis County Councilman because I believe that those who govern over
us, should be listening to us. This is NOT what I or quite a
few of my residents have experienced from MY OPPONENT.

down with the County Auditor, review the Budget line item by line item to get a
full understanding of where every penny goes. 3. Work w/ Council to Prioritize
and restructure the Budget, GASB met, for the needs of the residents and
businesses under County Government.

sponsored by the St Ann Business Association which I created and found great
management for in 2012. And “The Crossings at Northwest”, has JOBS popping out

3. I will Research and push to restructure the County Budget
- my experience as an Alderman for 5.5 years and my 23 years as a General
Manager in the Restaurant industry will come in quite handy here. The job of
the County Councilman is NOT much different than that of the Alderman. Running
our County should not be about your political affiliation. It should be about
“WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE, to make St. Louis County a strong and business
friendly environment, thus providing JOBS for the people of St Louis County
-North, South, East and West while assisting in keeping our County Schools
