Here I'll include our tournament schedule and snack/drink responsibilities for the season. Each family
will be assigned drink dates and snack/lunch dates. Families are expected to provide 1/PLAYER
gatorade and 45 water bottles for their drink assignment AND lunch for coaches and team
members, plus healthy snacks to provide energy for the day. Samples of healthy snacks include: bananas, apples, nutri-grain/oatmeal
bars, pretzels, Veggies...[TYPICALLY ALLOW 3 SNACKS PER PLAYER]. Lunch samples include: lunchmeat
on dollar rolls, with fixings, please do not supply more than (1) sandwich/player and coach.....
WHEN THE GIRLS EAT TOO MUCH THEY TEND TO COME BACK TO THE NEXT MATCH A LITTLE SLUGGISH......
Players should eat for one set of their break, then get up and do light exercise to remain energized
for the rest of the tournament.
SOME OF THE FACILITIES MAY HAVE SNACK BARS AVAILABLE,
HOWEVER IN ORDER TO KEEP THE COSTS OF THE WEEKENDS TO A MINIMUM, AND PREVENT THE GIRLS FROM OVEREATING AND PLAYING
POORLY AS A RESULT, WE INSTITUTE THIS PROCEDURE.
WHEN OUT OF TOWN ALL ARE
ON THEIR OWN...
GATEWAY HAS INSTITUTED A 5 POINT PENALTY,
FOR USE OF IPOD'S/CELL PHONES FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN TIMING THE WARM UP PERIOD OF A MATCH, WHILE REFFING.
THE POINTS WILL BE LOST ON THE NEXT SCHEDULED MATCH---DO NOT BRING YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES TO YOUR REFFING/SCORING
DUTIES....THANKYOU.

CHECK DAILY FOR CHANGES PRIOR TO COMING IN CASE OF CANCELLATIONS
(which is at the coaches descretion and could be related to weather, illness, # of players attending, availability,
etc.)

from a tournament and a replacement team cannot be found,
the Tournament Director may
elect to keep that team's entry fee. Teams withdrawing from a tournament

us about, could be disciplined up to and including non participation in the following tournament. (Tournaments are a major expense to the team, when members fail to show, it affects the outcome of the teams records
and can affect the probability of injuries.)

FYI, when called as an alternate, this means you may not receive an offer to play unless another player tells the
coach no. Teams typically carry 8-9 players, alternates added to the team in addition to this number may not receive much
play time during tournaments, accepting as an alternate you need to understand this point.
