The club fee for the 2011 season is $550.00. There
2 payment Options to choose from on Registration Night (OCTOBER 26th for the 12/14's; NOVEMBER 23rd for
the 15/16's). Club Fees are non-refundable. Players who have not paid up to date will not be allowed
to play in tournaments. Further, players who do not pay are, under Missouri and Illinois athletic rules, considered to have
received an "extra" benefit - this disqualifies them from playing in high school, as they are then considered to have turned
professional. They are thus inelegible for college athletic scholarships. Gateway dictates that once you sign the Commitment Form/pay fees to a club you are locked into that club
and cannot change your mind. pg- 17 Jr. Handbook, Special Note to Clubs: The High
School Associations and NCAA have rules that do not permit letting an athlete play for free, if you charge for your program,
or at a reduced rate from what is charged other athletes in your program. Violation of this rule will cause an athlete to
lose her/his amateur standing and be declared ineligible for high school and NCAA competition. If you have any questions,
contact the NCAA or your state association first!
FYI, when called as an alternate, this means you may not receive an offer to play unless another player tells the
coach no. Teams typically carry 8-9 players, alternates added to the team in addition to this number may not receive much
play time during tournaments, accepting as an alternate you need to understand this point.
