This is a class we are required to take as daycare operators.
It is full of tons of valuable information for families.
I highly reccommend listening to it.

KEEP IN MIND AS A LICENSED SITTER, I HAVE TO PAY FOR LICENSES, CLASSES, POLICE CHECKS

WE ARE REQUIRED TO GET YRLY MEDICAL EXAMS/TB TESTS, HEALTH INSPECTIONS  EVERY 6 MTHS, FIRE INSPECTIONS YRLY

I MUST HAVE A CHAUFFEUR'S LICENSE TO DRIVE, AND AM REQUIRED TO HAVE CERTAIN TOYS TO CHALLENGE YOUR KIDS

THEY HAVE ENSURED MY HOUSE IS LEAD/RADON FREE AND ALL EQUIPMENT IS WORKING PROPERLY.

I WAS TOLD I HAD THE SHORTEST LIST EVER MADE ON THE 1ST INSPECTION

THAT'S WHERE MY 23 YEARS OF RESTAURANT EXP. COME IN

KIDS SHOT RECORDS ARE REQUIRED BY THE STATE TO BE KEPT UP TO DATE

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD THAT FOR 23 YEARS I HAVE OPERATED RESTAURANTS THAT REQUIRED ME TO BE ABLE TO MULTI- TASK,

BE EXTREMELY ORGANIZED, HEAR WHAT'S GOING ON  IN ALL PARTS OF THE RESTAURANT AT ALL TIMES (WHICH HAS TRAINED MY EARS TO HEAR AS WELL AS I SEE)

AND KEEP A CREW OF 10-15 TEENAGERS OPERATING EFFICIENTLY FOR 10 HOURS AT A TIME.

ONLY 2 UNDER THE AGE OF 2 ARE ALLOWED- I DO HAVE A SEPARATE PLAY AREA TO KEEP THEM SAFE.

Some thoughts most never consider when a home daycare operator, quotes you their price:

Kids normally are apt to make mistakes often these mistakes may cause permanent damage to our homes. Whether it's writing on the wall or picking at paint or throwing a

toy at a window or playing with the blue light on your desktop computer causing it to break....the home daycare operator must paint the wall, or fix the window or replace the broken toys, broken playpens,

computers, etc.....so please remember when you hear our price...it's not just for watching the kids....we will have to support our families,

buy food for your kids...and fix or replace whatever gets messed up or broke...it's not just for the labor of watching. Thank you

TLC DAYCARE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF WEB PAGES LINKED FROM OUR SITE, OR THE CARE OF OTHER BUSINESSES SEEN ON THIS SITE.

Should the State of Mo decide that facemasks are mandatory. (To date these are not required in the Family Home Daycares.) You will have to purchase and maintain those. As a business owner, I will not be responsible for the purchase nor maintenance of facemasks. This is too huge of a liability risk. This daycare business follows the Rules and Regulations set forth by the Department of Health and Senior Services of the State of Missouri.
